Day 1: HANOI City ARIVAL – City Tour (/d)

For airport pick-up before 7AM, there will be additional surcharge applicable.

Welcome to Hanoi City, the capital city of Vietnam.

Upon arrival, welcomed by the local tour guide and transfer to the down town. Check in your hotel (normal check in time is 14.00/15.00).

Afternoon, visit Ba Dinh Square – the biggest square in Hanoi where all the biggest cultural, political events of the cities, especially demonstrations, take place. Start our visit at the Complex of Ho Chi Minh including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (from outside only as it closes in the afternoon), Ho Chi Minh’s house-on-stilts, his fishpond and the One-Pillar Pagoda. Continue visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, locates on a small peninsula on the East side of the dazzling West Lake, this is the most ancient pagoda in Hanoi with its history line of more than 1,500 years. Later, we visit the picturesque Hoan Kiem Lake and then take a leisure walk around the Old Quarter of Hanoi, a fascinating network of narrow alleys and shop houses also known as ‘The 36 Streets’ – each street being named after the merchandise traditionally sold there, ranging from fabrics, medicines to crafts. Transfer back to your hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 2: HANOI – HOA LU – TAM COC – HANOI (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel. A 90km driving south of Hanoi will lead you to Ninh Binh, the site of the one capital city of ancient Vietnam before Hanoi took its leading role in 11th century. The area is featured by lots of well-known sceneries, which include Tam Coc Caves and Hoa Lu ancient capital with the old temples dedicated to King Dinh & King Le reigned in 10th century. The visit in Ninh Binh starts by a boat trip in Tam Coc where spectacular limestone karsts jut out from the green paddy fields reminding about Guilin (China) and Halong Bay of Vietnam, which gives this scenery the name “Halong-bay-on-land”.  Further discovery in  Ninh Binh will be continued by visiting Bich Dong Pagoda. Afternoon drive back Hanoi, on the way, stop to visit Hoa Lu, the site that used to be the kings’ palace in 10th century and now famous for the wooden relieves of the shady Dinh and Le temples. Late afternoon back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 3: HANOI - HALONG BAY – TRANSFER VIA THE EXPRESSWAY - OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel and check out

Morning, we will drive via the expressway (2.5 – 3 hours driving) to Halong, one of the earliest World Heritages Sited designated by UNESCO for Vietnam in 1994.

Check-in our boat and enjoy a lunch of fresh seafood while the boat goes about unusual seascape with thousands picturesque rocks and islets, beaches and hollow islands. We can stop to visit some karsts grottoes or just go swimming, or stop at a beach and enjoy the sunset on the sea. Lunch and dinner with local food on board. Overnight on the boat in Halong Bay.

DAY 4: HALONG – HANOI – TRANSFER VIA THE OLD ROAD – EVENING FLIGHT AFTER 17:00 TO DANANG.( LB/B or BR/D)

You should wake up early to enjoy the dawn on the sea in the early morning. The Vietnamese call the “East Sea” by a point-oriented name “Eastern Sea”, so you may guess how miraculous seeing the sunrise over the islets of the Bay. After light breakfast our boat will continue to cruise in marvelous areas, where almost each islet has its own name, adopting its shape or reminiscent like Sail Island, Fisherman’s head rock, Butterfly rock or Turtle islet etc. Fully breakfast or brunch will local food will be served on board.

Disembark and transfer back to Hanoi via the old road (3.5 – 4 hours driving), heading to the airport for your flight to Danang. (air tickets quoted separately)

Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel & check in.

Overnight in Danang.

DAY 5: DANANG BA NA HILLS WITH THE GOLDEN BRIDGE  – DANANG (Bl/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel.

Morning transfer to Ba Na Hills for discover this beautiful attraction in Da Nang city. You will take a cable car to the summit of mountain (at 1487m of sea level). Start visiting Ba Na Hill with many different attractions: Funicular, Le Jardin D’Amour, Linh Ung pagoda, Thich Ca Buddist statue, etc.

This afternoon you continue to join activities and games in Fantasy Park. Later walk to the summit of the mountain at the height 1487m – the highest one of Ba Na Mountain, visit Bell Tower, Nghinh Phong tower a and Golden Bridge, to take beautiful photos of the mountain and Da Nang city. Overnight in Danang

DAY 6: DANANG – CAM THANH COCONUT VILLAGE – DANANG – HO CHIMINH (B/D)

Breakfast at hotel. Check out.  

Today , transfer to Cam Thanh coconut village. Here, you will experience basket boat ride around the coconut forest, learn about the daily life of Vietnamese fishermen, their families and their community. You will surely experience the feeling of floating on the waves of water and join a equally fun basket boat race between the baskets together in the cheering and bustling music drum. Board on boat and commence cruising on the Cua Dai River. Coconut forest is a very unique eco region, with a beautiful mangrove forest, is the habitat of many precious animals such as, crab, shrimp, fish and even animals soft body. Local people will teach you how to paddle the Vietnamese unique bamboo basket boat.

the airport without guide for your flight to Hochiminh City, City also called as Saigon, the most dynamic city in Vietnam. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.

DAY 7: HO CHI MINH – MEKONG DELTA – HO CHI MINH (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel

Morning, head to My Tho, the homeland of coconut and family factories with local products like coconut candy, rice paper,… Upon arrival, embark on the boat cruising on the mighty Mekong River viewing the life to the local people live along the banks. We stop to visit an island in the area, enjoy the fresh tropical fruits served in the heart of the lush garden accompanied by traditional southern Vietnamese folk music. Later, embark on other small boats rowed by the local people thru the small canals shadowed by water coconut trees to visit the local factories. There you will taste the honey tea and see the local people produce the coconut candy milk and of course you also can try it or stroll in the garden where the locals feed honeybee.

In the afternoon, continue to visit Vinh Trang pagoda, a famous pagoda in the area with architecture combination of Chinese, Cambodian, and French cultures. Return to Ho Chi Minh late in the afternoon.

DAY 8: HO CHI MINH TO PHNOM PENH – CITY TOUR (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel and check out. You will do short tour of city tour with Reunification Palace. Formerly the Independence Palace of the South Vietnamese president, this 60s style was famously stormed by tanks on April 30, 1975 signifying the fall of South Vietnam. It has been preserved in its original state, and the original tanks remain on display near the entrance gates. Then proceed to the colonial-styled Central Post Office - one of the city’s major landmarks. Have a walking tour on Nguyen Hue street to take the photos of the Opera House (outside) and the Ho Chi Minh Committee (outside). From here, walking to Ben Thanh Market one of the most typical symbol of Saigon to experience the daily life of the locals and do shopping the hand-made goods there.  

Later transfer to the airport without guide for your flight to Phnom Penh City, Cambodia. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.

This Evening, we visit the impressive colorful Khmer-style royal palace complex build in 1866 by the Predecessors of King Norodom. Nearby is Silver pagoda (the emerald Buddha temple), where contain plenty of Buddha Statues decorated and made by gold, diamond, gemstone and silver.  We pass through the river-front park where 4 rivers met at a junction include mystical Mekong. Walk up to sacred hill Phnom Daun Penh – also the name of a pagoda and name of the capital nowadays. Last visit Central Market, a large market constructed in 1937 in the shape of a dome with four arms branching out into vast hallways with countless stalls of goods. Initial design and layouts are from French architect Louis Chauchon.  Overnight in Phnom Penh.

DAY 9: PRIVATE TRANSFER PHNOM PENH – SIEM REAP – CITY TOUR (B/L/D)

After breakfast and check out hotel, we transfer to Siem Reap for 6 hours. Our first stop on the way is at Skuon town to see (or even try) sautéed spiders, a local unique food. Lunch at Prey Pros Restaurant (local food) then continue our drive to through villages and rice fields dotted with palm sugar and Khmer houses. Our last stop is at Kampong Kdei to visit a beautiful ancient archaeological bridge of Angkor period “Naga Bridge”. Arrival Siem Reap, check in hotel and relax. This afternoon, we visit Wat Bo, a highly respected pagoda founded in the 18th century, contains very unique wall paintings of the Reamker (Ramayana) that are said to be from late 19th century. We then visit the "Les Artisans d'Angkor – Chantiers Ecole" the Finest Authentic Khmer Arts and Crafts. End our visit at one of the city’s lively open markets, Psar Chars, also called the “Old Market”, where anything and everything is for sale. Overnight in Siem Reap.

DAY 10: SIEM REAP ANGKOR TOUR  (B/D)

Morning, continue visiting the ancient capital of Angkor Thom starting with the South Gate of Angkor Thom which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone. Bayon Temple - unique with its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces, Baphuon temple located in the North of Bayon represented of holy Mount Meru the residence of the gods in Hindu tradition. Finishing the visit at this ancient city by going around The Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Continue visiting the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man’s creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature. This temple is famous by being chosen for major activities of Tomb Raider acted by Celebrity Angelina Jolie.

Afternoon, visit Angkor Wat, highlighted by the longest continuous bas-relief in the world, carved on the walls and tell the stories of Hindu legends. This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th  century and covers an area of about 210 hectares. Strolling around this massive edifice, seeing many galleries with Colums, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple. End of the day, visit Phnom Bakheng where you can calmly relax and enjoy sun set view. Return to Siem Reap downtown. Overnight in Siem Reap.
